Cycling to Taiwan Village

Posted By Real Goshen on Friday, August 14, 2009 | 13:03

After the completion of church choir service on Friday night, my friend Maxsrayll told Samson to start cycling again every Saturday. Actually, we started last year but stopped for 4 months as Maxsrayll's bike was a little damaged.

permandangan padi taiwan kota marudu 2008Our first cycling trip is to a Taiwan village. For your knowledge, there are vast areas of paddy which serves as main source of income for the population in that place. However, if depending only on rice yield, isn't enough to support a family because there can only be two yields per year. Thus, rubber tapping and working in construction provides a source of regular income for the people there.

After we have explored the Taiwan village, I suddenly remembered somebody - our classmate Frankie. I told Maxsrayll and Samson and Samson immediately contacted Frankie on his mobile phone to inform him before we proceeded to Frankie's house.

The picture below show our activities throughout that day and the person wearing the blue shirt is Samson; the one in dark blue is Maxsrayll; and the one in orange is Frankie. However, you cannot find me in the picture.
